Then re-open communication and ask Ranger Bay for her command codes. After receiving said codes, then demand Ranger Bay eject the pirate ship's warp core or hyperdrive and vent it's impulse reactors. Then demand she immediately execute the pirate Queen on screen.

Depending on how it was done; it could be the engine pods can be detached or ejected in the event of catastrophic damage to prevent the engine from exploding and damaging/destroying the ship.

Interesting design decision to have engines that can be severed from the hull by enemy fire. I imagine there could be arguments both for and against that idea.
