The guy that plays Boone is Carl Weathers, probably best known for his role as Apollo Creed in the Rocky series. In fact, when Peters and Boone confront Shawn and Gus in their car, and Shawn says he and Gus never know when to throw in the towel, Gus says they're ready for the next round, Shawn says ring the bell, and Gus says ding, ding.....that's a Rocky III reference. :D

Finally all caught up on your Reactions to Psych and Gilmore Girls. Ready for more. BTW... a grapple us exactly what it sounds like. They som how managed to join a grap and an apple... the apple you can bite into and taste a delicious combination of apple and grape. I'm originally from California and have had them, but I haven't seen them here in TX.

The episode was written for the 6th season, it was just delayed by quite a long time.

It's funny but this show is always entertaining even if it's not one of my favorite episodes. I think people refer to the musical as a "movie" even though it fits in with season 7 because it's awesome (and 2 hours). It is technically episodes 15/16 but continuity wise happens sometime before Deez Nups.

Man, I had forgotten how enjoyable season 5 was (save for a couple of stand-out episodes coming up). This has been a good reminder.

This is one of my favorites because you get to see what Gus and Shawn might look like in the future since they were so similar in their relationship. Seemed like you were looking down and writing/browsing your phone or something for significant portions of it so I was a little bummed at some of the parts you missed. Still love you though.
