Otis fucked up big time with Eric. He threw a temper tantrum at his friend who'd just experienced a hate crime on his birthday after he ditched him for a girl. Fun fact. In the mid-late 90s Otis's mom was number on the list of the sexiest women alive from FHM magazine (a few years before Maxim started their Hot 100 list).

In a previous episode after the essay was announced in class Adam asked maeve to write it and would pay triple. The sweatshirt was given last episode (episode 5) on the bridge at night. Pool episode was in 4 and when Otis walked home with Maeve was episode 3 after the abortion.
