There's also the fact that Hyde would bring up Laurie, who I think Kelso is still dating/hooking up with. At least I don't remember them mentioning that they stopped and Red to mention him to Laurie

Kelso knew not to bring Hyde cause he would have called him on all his crap and Jackie would have listened to him. Especially cause she is very hesitant to get back with Kelso here. She just doesn’t want to be alone. But she forgets that Kelso knew all that stuff before and still lied and cheated on her. Or she didn’t forget and ignored it so she wouldn’t be alone. She wouldn’t even let Donna talk and she would have reminded her too. And Kelso losing his van was all Kelso’s own fault. He was the one jumping up and down in there on an ice lake.
