yea i wouldve given the gift in the box. never heard of anyone putting a toy together before giving it to someone. like nick said: maybe they’d like to return it or put it together as a family.

As hot and shippy as Nick and Jess are, they are also toxic and the worst at times. It is true though, you should at least be on the same page as far as how you view your relationship. Jess is goal oriented and Nick lives in the moment. That's a big obstacle that they don't seem capable of working through at this point. It's sweet that they both value their friendship so highly though. And it's a nice echo back to their first kiss when she grabs him by the arm but pulls him into a hug.
