Nick's mom Kelly did leave, she was just taking a different method. It wouldn't do for someone who has been presumed dead for 18 years to pop up security cameras from taking trains or buses.

When adalin mother said that only the captain could wake juliette i think it was just a referance about how a prince of "pure heart" could wake her up like in the legends for kids. Also next episode is one of my favorite this season i can't wait next week. Ps: when they talk about the monster they call him "mauvaise dent" french for bad teeth so i could see when your talk about the sabertooth.

One of the episode captain Renard said something like: Juliet keeps Nick in Portland, if Juliet dies Nick could quit his job and move away. Renard wants to keep Nick close to him.
