as everyone else has already stated, but im gonna say it anyway, Iris didn’t do anything out of spite. Barry & Iris are just so close that that’s just natural for them even Barry didn’t think anything of it + Iris had been suppressing her feelings for so long and hadn’t realized it until everyone was pointing it out to her in this episode, she wasn’t trying to hurt Eddie or Linda she was just oblivious to her own feelings

Iris has been surpressing her feelings for Barry for so long. Also I don't think she was trying to deliberately mark territory. She and Barry have just always been so close it would inevitably make their partners uncomfortable.

More Iris defense here: I think she didn't exactly realize what she was doing at the bowling alley. It was honestly just so natural, so unquestionable, so innate that I don't think she realized how she came off.

Iris defense here - she didn't realize she had deep feelings for him, so her actions were subconscious, that's why she kept denying it until the last possible moment. That's Singh's fiancée, he mentions it when Barry spills his drink on him in the beginning.
