Yeah Hiro was focusing on the New York poster on the train which is how/why he teleported there. The camera panned to it.

That’s the best explanation I can think of. That or he manipulates time so to teleport somewhere, since he’s so new to his ability, could take time.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the pilot, it's in my opinion one of the strongest pilots of all time. By the way I think something weird happened during the episode, it was like the scene with Peter and Mohinder talking in the taxi was cut short and the song started playing too early. I remember Mohinder saying "ah yes, we're all special" and Peter said he didn't mean that. I didn't see that part on the video. Not a big deal but wondering what happened.

To answer your question about Hiro: I think he made time go faster on the train, but he also kinda spaced out while thinking about New York (there was a poster on the wall), and then accidentally teleported there.

So excited for this! Sounds like Steven will be getting back into this when you’re caught up which is great. This show as a lot have said is so nostalgic for me. It just makes me happy and I’m thrilled whenever someone takes the leap 😉
