Finally got around to watching the first two episodes and I absolutely loved this one!! That may be because I knew nearly the entire guest cast (love Judith Hoag aka the psycho wife) but it was also just really well done and fun. Can't wait to continue.

Daryl

Episode 2. This is one that I have looked back on many times later down the road.

Kacey Caldwell

So the reason the Sheriff comes out of the trees comes from a scene near the beginning where Patrick or Lisbon, can't remember which one, said they should patrol/search the woods around the restaurant. Of course i didn't pick up on that my first watch through. Like you when it happened i was like "it was YOU!!!?" Turned out Sheriff was just trying to be a good guy who comes off creepy. I think his creepyness comes from his old-fashion/southern manners/good-old boyness.
