i think a lot of shows today try so hard to go dark and heavy but miss the mark on talking about some of these struggles in a realistic age appropriate way teenagers can connect and identify with.

this is one of my favorite episodes. any shawn centered episode gets me in my emotions but this one is just really well done! i say it all the time but i really feel like sometimes the 90s and early 2000s were more groundbreaking when it comes to certain topics than even modern day things and that's really a shame. i'm thankful for growing up with these shows that didn't shy away from this lessons and conversations.
