Dream Molder progress summary and February Poll Winner

Just a small summary of what I worked on over January and plans for the February Poll winner!
I did some mixed work on Dream Molder over the month and added a lot of new placeholders, character sketches, scripts and made small changes to some of the story.
So far I finished about 53% of the Character-Sketch Demo, which would have been a little higher if I didn't get sick at the end of the month what didn't exactly favor progression.
But that pretty much means that even though I got sick I finished around half of the demo in one month and it should only take another month to finish the rest of it.
I will still need to do some updates to sketches and bugtests once I'm done with the scripting, but it at least shows that the Character-Sketch Demo release isn't too far off.
For this month however I will start with some art of the February Poll Winner which is Zoroark.
The first few days everyone kind of started voting for Braixen and I honestly thought that's going to be me now, drawing Braixen till the rest of my days. xD
I actually still have some discarded ideas from back when I was still thinking about what kind of Visual Novel I want to make for practice..
If Zoroark didn't shoot to the top like it did you would have probably seen something about those..
But yeah, since Zoroark is the winner I already have a vague idea of what I want to do with it.. I hope you will like the idea!
Just like the Lucario one I might overestimate the time I have at hand to do it, but I'll see how far I get.
If you have any wishes for Zoroark just let me know, I will use the first few days for sketching and trying around anyways so might as well add something you like!
Alright, that's pretty much it.
Btw... Nobody has to feel bad about it's Pokémon not winning the Poll since I will add them to the next Poll and your last votes will be added on top that ones outcome aswell!
Oh, a last note...
I thought about sharing the sketches over here before I colorate or animate anything, so let me know if that's something you would want to see.

You could entirely add an extra option in the bi-monthly polls for unfinished projects. just in case life gets in the way of a popular poll winner and you can’t meet your end of month deadline. That way the project can be finished in the next vote If the idea is still popular. That could keep work a little more consistent and you wouldn’t have to use up your spare time to work on unfinished stuff. I didn’t even know continuing the Christmas lucario animation was an option. Nor did I think you were still trying to work on it. I just assumed it’s time was over since it couldn’t be finished along with the wallpapers. And I like the idea of an updated demo too. Knowing that could effect braixens poll results quite a bit since the demo is what brought a lot of people here. I doubt people would mind more Fia<3
You should share preliminary sketches for sure. I feel like zoroark would be more dominant or on top rather than on their back though, thats for sure. I can't wait to see what you do with them! The female and male option was also a very nice touch.

That's actually what I was thinking about myself in case I don't have any time left to do it this month. Other options I was thinking about adding were remaking the old demo with the new engine/software and uploading the old demo animations in higher resolution videos and with shiny versions. Both were things I was asked about but wasn't quite sure if it's worth doing if I'm working on the full game anyway. But if I add them to the poll I wouldn't need to feel bad about working on the old stuff..

Zoroark was my first choice so I’m happy they won. It’s good to hear that Dream Molder is progressing nicely and I can’t wait to see more. Any sketches you feel like sharing here would be great, we’re always happy to see your art and give feedback. Could I suggest that finishing the full Lucario animation be an option on the next poll? The short preview you shared looked amazing and I’d love to see it completed.
man, I’m happy enough with the knowledge that progress is being made. I wish I could be a significant help and lighten the load but I lack every skill needed to do that... eh, I’ll probably have a few essays worth of stuff to say when the next demo is finished. Take care dude. Don’t do anything TOO crazy this month! A little crazy is fine though.

Well, I’m very happy for the win of zoroark, plus, personaly I think that if you share the sketches before you colorate them is a good idea ‘cause you can see wich of the sketches is the most liked by us :3. PD: I hope mienshao win the next time :,3. -Brayan X.
