They were mine and my mom's comfort show too. I think I like them so much because it's people outside of the police doing the investigating.

the theme song actually starts in s2 so it weird how it is played here, maybe depends on what service you watch it on. they have make fun of this in a second season episode

I remember thinking the way Monk did the "reveal" thing next episode was dope. Monk has dope reveals, though, just like Psych. They used to do a lot of promo crossovers for Monk and Psych (Shawn as the messy guy opposite OCD Monk). They wanted to do an actual episode crossover but the schedules never lined up. It's why, Psych finale, they had them mention a guy reorganising the victim's kitchen cuz they'd moved to San Francisco, hinting that it's Monk in the kitchen. I love this show so much. Actually hoping you'd pick this up cuz it does humour very well (I legit forgot about the waving dead body and CACKLED) but it's also SO sad with all of Monk's wife case stuff. Brilliant show.

I did make a mistake when requesting, so part 2 might be delayed. I did have episode 1 and 2 listed, but at the last second I changed episode 2 for an extra episode of Dirk Gently forgetting about the two part pilot. Hopefully won't be too long though, I will use my request for this month for the second part.
