its weird cause people now say kids are 'too old too fast' with makeup, dating and 'mature' things. But when you look back, kids were doing the same things back then as now, its just we see more of it as its happening.

watching this is making me realize how "old" kids were back in the day. i look at D.J. and to me she acts more like 13-15 vs 10. and then i see 10 year olds today who i think act more like 5-7 year olds. i think kids just were held to a different standard and maturity level and sometimes that transfers into how they misbehaved as well as how they behaved. i think that's why some of what D.J. does can feel jarring to see today.
