Thank you so much for reacting to the series... I used to love it as a kid... I have requested the next few eps as well. As mentioned, yes she is human, but very well trained and an exceptional, experienced fighter

As other have said, Xena is a spin-off series. Her arc started on the first season of Hercules - The Legendary Journeys 1.09 The Warrior Princess 1.12 The Gauntlet 1.13 Unchained Heart

FYI Brian, the screams are like a war call she does in battle. Just a thing she does. And Xena started out in another show like this that came out a year or two earlier from when Xena premiered. It was Hercules. Him you’ve heard of I’m sure. She started on there as a bad warlord just like the guy she fought here. She raided/burned villages and killed men. In Hercules, it was a 3 episode arc and she turned back to being good, and in Xena, she’s on a quest to redeem all the bad she’s done in the past.
