Should Rory have kissed jess and then run away? No. Did I love watching it though? You bet. I am here for the drama. If you wanna watch characters being perfect and always making the right choices, this definitely ain’t the show for you lol.

So here's my take. I'm with you on the Lorelai/Chris stuff. But I will defend Rory on the vast majority of things that the fans have an issue with. This was a huge mistake, yes, and it was wrong of her to kiss Jess. But because she's been set up as a "perfect" kid, with every mistake she makes, people jump to it ruining her character and making her an awful person. She's still a teenager. One of my favorite things about this show is that every single character has some major character flaws, and I still root for most of them
