Season 6 is when the show moved to NBC, and NBC scheduled it for short (13 episode) seasons starting in January. So their stories never happened during Halloween any more, and the writers had to think up clever ways to delay a Halloween Heist until spring. This season's double-postponement ("V-allow-easter") was an especially intricate way of doing that.
