I dislike this excuse. This is the same excuse people used for Buffy The Vampire Slayer (no one can be happy or else the show isn't working). Characters do not have to make outrageously dumb decisions every episode for a plot to progress. That's lazy writing.

Callie isn't the most likeable but if she didn't make these types of decisions there would be no storylines and plots lol. The same goes for any tv show. It supposed to have drama. I don't get when people get upset over characters doing dumb things
