Most parents that I know don't put their boys in the same rooms as their girls.

Technically it’s not a law but the Social do kinda like to enforce it. We had a situation that o won’t go into but anyway my cousins came to live with us and we kinda had to have a shuffle, because I was the only one with a big enough room to fit another bed but at the time I was 18 and the social worker said that the boys (11&15) couldn’t be placed in the same room as me.

Honestly it’s something I’ve always been told by different adults growing up and I never fact checked myself but after looking it up online you’re right, it’s just not allowed in Foster homes once kids reach 5 years old and their different genders they can’t share.

Legally Gabe and Charlie can’t share a room because of Gabe’s age and gender. But because Pj and Gabe are the same gender they can share.
