🕑 Added 2025-01-17 17:12:08 +0000 UTCWakokukin Seiyu, the Tsunami Wing, is a tribal woman from the islands of Wa, an autonomous region that has sworn fealty to the Empire.
Historically, the tribes of Wa were pirates, and as the daughter of the ruling family, Seiyu is a literal pirate princess—and technically a political hostage to ensure her people's good behaviour. However, her skill and loyalty to the Sect that saved her people have basically made that arrangement moot.
Seiyu is, on first glance, the calmer, more composed of the two, but thats just due to the blank expression her resting face has. Once known as Seiyu the Maw, the gluttonous other half of the Disaster Wings is very rarely far away from causing an incident alongside her best friend.

As much as I love Tsuu's art work for this series overall, I'm still really happy to see one of her pieces that doesn't have ridiculous balloons attached to their chest.
