Chinese sounds don't match perfectly to english letters. When transcribing Chinese words you use Pinyin where Latin characters represent different sounds than they do in English. In Pinyin an "R" at the begining of a sylable represents a sound halfway between a j and an r so "Rou" sounds a lot like Joe. The name Cai Xuilan has two examples, the "C" is pronounced similar to "ts" and the "X" is like a "sh". I say like but native speakers probably hear a significant difference. In short, yes he is pronouncing it right.

Go to the "Collections" tab of CasualFarmer's page, there's a collection for each AU, including the SHI one. The only chapter not directly here on Patreon is the first one, but there's a link to it in the post for the second chapter. AFAIK CF hasn't mentioned whether events from other AUs take place during those, or how much of the setting is canon to the main universe. Each AU can be read independently. Some "crossovers" did already happen, although only in the case of people appearing in the main story. Minyan is a prominent character in the SHI AU, as well as the Disaster Wings, who had a brief appearance at the end of the previous volume.

Honestly I can't keep up on where to read the whole AU so I don't know where to start reading it, like is this timeline also the same path where Meiling goes into the edgy Xianxia protag route? If so then it would be interesting what would happen if she meets Jin when he's the goody Xianxia young master archetype. Though I'm also very interested if the author ever tries a crossover between the OG and the AU storylines, the ensued Chaos would be great popcorn material.

Honestly, this doesn't look like Jin to me. Muscles aside, the chin is too pointy, I remember Jin with a more square jaw. And the freckles are different. When I look at this, I see Jin and Mieling's son as an adult, after coming home from a visit to Forest Sweeper's forest. Great art though 👌

Man, that top left expression...that's what he's wearing right before he stomps you outside a noodle shop. But also that surprised/bright eyed look in the middle? Priceless. Young Master-ish, sure, but also a bit less...weary? Weathered? Worn? Than Jin. Good contrast between them.
