This past month has been intense, both in terms of weather and events. However, development on the game continues as planned. Following the release of the latest update, I dedicated most of my time to fixing bugs, refining the balance, and adding missing game elements.
Video Gallery
I realized that many of you wanted access to cutscenes via the terminal. So, my first task was to rework these scenes and add them to a gallery. Now, all scenes from Acts 1 and 2 will be viewable through the terminal.
Mission Journal
While the main character's missions are straightforward, I felt that Oni's thoughts and motivations needed more expression. Being an engineer, Oni has unlocked a journal feature in her C-Scanner to keep a diary of sorts. In the mission journal, you can read detailed descriptions of current tasks and the history of completed missions.
Notes Journal
Oni can now upload found notes from tablets and emails from terminals into her C-Scanner. Have you ever wanted to revisit a note from earlier in the game to check something or connect a story piece, but the thought of running back to find it was off-putting? Now, this will be much easier, as all found letters and notes will be accessible directly from her C-Scanner. Just make sure you have it with you.
One-Side Implant Hairstyle
Observant players noticed that Oni has elements on her body that look like implants or augmentations. Indeed, in the distant future, these will be an integral part of the human body. Now, you can enhance the main character's look with a fitting hairstyle. Unfortunately, body modifications currently don't improve Oni's physical parameters, but who knows if she might be able to upgrade them in the future?
New Eyes
Some of you noted that Oni's eyes in the new main menu looked odd, reacting strangely to light as if she hadn't slept in a week. Given my obsession with quality, I couldn't ignore this. I dedicated time to updating the eye materials for all characters. Now, their eyes respond correctly to local lighting without that strange mirror effect.
Dialogue and Voice Acting
As I gear up for the development of Act 3 following the release of update 0.2.1, I thought it would be beneficial to have all the dialogues written and recorded for this part of the game.
Even though I strive to release the most polished updates and hunt for bugs meticulously, some still slip through. Thanks to everyone for your bug reports and your desire to improve the project. Additionally, many small improvements and existing feature enhancements have been added to the game, which you can find detailed in the 0.2.1 update changelog.
I am now wrapping up work on update 0.2.1 and will begin focusing on Act 3 right after its release.

The 0.2.1 update will be available soon enough, and I'm currently testing new features. Oops! The gallery will only contain h-scenes and I didn't add this scene of Clarissa meeting.

These are nice news, but is that a version we can download somewhere? And if yes, can you tell when? I want to rewatch a certain hugging-scene from time to time without starting a new game, you know :)
