Within seconds, her arms raised, eyes glazed, and the Man was no more, replaced by a blank-eyed zombie under the spiral’s spell. Just then, the door creaked open, and in walked Bayley, smirking with satisfaction. “You may have beat me in the ring, but your mind didn't stand a chance.” she boasted, taking out her phone to record. "This one's going viral..."
Bayley strutted closer, circling the bed like a proud artist admiring her masterpiece. Becky didn’t flinch, her arms still outstretched, her face slack with trance.
Bayley waved a hand in front of her eyes, then giggled. “Nobody can resist the spiral.” she said, tapping the side of the TV. “Especially not you, Bex.”
She pulled a remote from her pocket and clicked a button. The spiral pulsed faster, and Becky’s head tilted slightly, a faint groan escaping her lips.
“Oh yeah,” Bayley grinned, “deeper every second. You’re not just hypnotized, you’re mine now." Bayley leaned in, whispering in Becky’s ear, “Repeat after me: Bayley is the real champ.”
A moment of silence...
Then, in a flat, robotic voice, Becky droned, “Bayley is the real champ…”
Bayley burst into laughter, already typing up the caption for the video she’d just recorded. “Oh this is gold. I’m posting this before you even wake up.”
She tossed a blanket over Becky’s legs and flopped onto the other side of the bed, kicking off her boots. “Nighty night, zombie Lynch. Enjoy your little brain vacation.”
And with the spiral still swirling and Becky still mumbling obedience, Bayley settled in, smug and victorious, at least until Becky woke up with a very different kind of payback on her mind.
