Damn, I’m sorry to hear about the burnout! Take some breaks, especially around the holidays. I know you have some plans for this series and other upcoming projects, but what’s most important is your mental, emotional and physical health. Burning the rope at both ends isn’t really worth the suffering. But hey, good job as always! Keep up the good work!

hey sad to know you had a burnout take care, and if you need give a time out to rest, just remember to warn us ... I know how life and work can be overwhelming, don't forget to rest, we can wait is better to take some more time to finish than get so tired that just to look at your work seens painfull

Yea, it more mental stuff, struggling with getting the chapter done I think I struggle most with sketching so it'll stay colored

I've just now seen the text on the post. You had burnout? I hope you're better now. I recommend you to take on a lighter workload, maybe continue the comic in black and white, as to not have to color every page, you can release a color version later on the line... Remember to take care of your wrist and hand health, do exercises and stretches to avoid wrist pain.

I'd imagine him explaining that she ran away from home from an abusive mother and he's taking on a father role But it would complicate things if they got married

The perspective is kinda weird when its only line drawings, it looks like she didnt hide, i initially thought his mom saw lily but just ignored her (early dementia?)

Realistically they wouldn't forgive it, i don't know how possibly Danny could persuade them to be ok with an illegal relationship, aside from the taboo... I think Danny could present her as a friend's daughter he's babysitting until she comes back from abroad or some fake story like that.
