It is Halloween (bare with me) and tonight, Alastor has invited his favorite souls to join him on a trip to the human world, as tonight, the veil between the living and the dead shall be temporarily lifted.
You are preparing to leave the hotel and cross into the human world for a grand Halloween celebration. Masks, music, and mischief await... if only you can make it out.
The rest of the staff has already left, but you shall soon find out that the hotel isn’t so keen on spending this night alone. It thrives on company, and it has its own way of keeping guests entertained… forever, if need be.
As you push open the exit door, expecting the crisp night air, you find yourself stepping into… another room. The room is familiar, the queen sized bed, definitely not a mimic chest at the end of it, and pictures of a once happy family give the room away as the dwellings of princess Morningstar.
The lights flicker ominously, and the door behind you vanishes. The hotel isn’t letting you go that easily. To escape, you’ll need to solve its riddles, uncover its secrets, and outsmart its tricks. Every choice matters. Every clue counts. And the clock is ticking… .
INTRUCTIONS: Each room will start with a new thread by the narrator. This thread will start with a description of the room. Unless stated otherwise you can explore the room freely. Do this by describing what you do/ what you interact with and how in a comment on that thread. Depending on how many are playing you might have to wait a second for a response, so don’t put too much in one reply. Step by step you will have to solve the mysteries and find your way out. Nifty’s Room The door bursts open with a disturbing creak, as if something broke, and you're instantly swept into a whirlwind of retro charm and obsessive cleanliness. Niffty’s room is a candy-colored time capsule straight out of a 1950s dream—if that dream had a manic sparkle and a hint of madness. The walls are painted in pastel hues, adorned with vintage advertisements, anime posters, and cheerful floral wallpaper that somehow manages to look both quaint and chaotic. Every surface gleams. The floor is spotless, the windows are smudge-free, and even the lightbulbs seem polished. A stack of alphabetized cleaning supplies sits proudly beside it like trophies. The air smells faintly of lemon polish and lavender, and there's a faint hum of energy—like the room itself is vibrating with Niffty’s boundless enthusiasm. Despite the pristine order, there's a quirky clutter of trinkets, weapons and crafting supplies. It’s sweet, strange, and sparkling with personality. Welcome to Niffty’s domain—where dust fears to tread and charm runs wild. There is no second door.

Cherri’s room You enter in yet another explosion, one of color and attitude. Cherry Bomb’s room is a punk-rock paradise drenched in neon pinks and fiery reds, with graffiti scrawled across cracked walls like rebellious signatures. Posters of anarchic slogans and explosive imagery plaster every surface, some curling at the edges from old scorch marks. A shattered vanity sits under a flickering bulb, littered with makeup palettes and bullet casings, as if beauty and destruction were inseparable. The air smells faintly of gunpowder and cherry lip gloss, and the floor is a minefield of discarded boots, empty liquor bottles, and weapon parts. It’s loud even in silence, a room that screams Cherry Bomb’s name. However The room appears to still be under construction. Most notably you spot a raster on the floor. You are all still standing in an unmarked stretch. At the other side of the room another unmarked stretch awaited. It will take three steps to cross the room and you can step over one square each time (for example you can go from A1 to A3. You can also move diagonally, from A1 to C3. Mister tall and creepy can step over two squares just because I want to insult that tower of terror's height. Please tell me where you are stepping next.
