Revisiting Silas Emeralt
🕑 Added 2021-12-01 23:06:52 +0000 UTCHappy December 1st! Kind of felt the need to paint something again so why not good old Silas ;) Also trying to experiment with blurred edges to try and give that camera focal range effect. I don't know how I feel about it just yet, but it could just need some more experimentation.
Either way, here's the final piece with the progression steps. The total time was just over 8 hours.

yeah. It's grittier, but feels more realistic and natural than the more "neon" version I remember seeing.
