Rintrah - Movie/Comic Combo
🕑 Added 2023-03-15 07:05:28 +0000 UTCFan art piece, inspired by the design that was found in the comics combined with the newer version in the Dr. Strange movie. On top of having a version with and without the "fractured" effect, I also included the background by itself as well. Thought it might be cool to see the details in the clouds on their own!
But yeah, definitely not a knock on either of the designs in any way, but more of just a fun experiment 👍

Really stunning work. I've always loved minotaurs, and I really like characters that display a different dimension than their physical form would suggest. I think this picture really captures not just Rintrah's impressive physique, but his high intelligence and power as a sorcerer.

For what it's worth, this feels much more impactful than the one Marvel commissioned you to do, despite all that detailed fur work in the latter. The glossier look, those shades of green and those splashes of yellow/gold-ish green in this one just give it that much more oomph. They should've just told you "just draw Rintrah as you wish and come back to us" 😂
