Albairon the Ranger 🐮🏹 (Moodity)
🕑 Added 2025-07-14 04:03:39 +0000 UTCHey guys! Hope you all had a great Weekend! The figures for the Red haired archer Moo are now done! Also, as you guys have likely noticed from the title, his name is now decided; Albairon!
His design was tweaked slightly from his initial flexing piece, but most of it was just to align more with a fantasy setting. 😂
A bit about him:
"Albairon was born and raised in one of the Northern Water tribes. Although his Mother was the Village’s Matriarch and Father, the Head of the Scouting Regiment, perhaps the two most powerful individuals in the village, from the moment he took his first breaths after birth, he was already seen as a cursed child. His bright red hair was an Omen of Fire and he was a vessel for it's Spirit.
Growing up was a rough time for him as most of the other children (and adults for that matter) wanted nothing to do with an Omen Child. Although lonely, this gave him the opportunity to explore other things that he might enjoy, such as adventuring in the gardens, watching snails and chasing butterflies and most of all, shooting makeshift targets with his bow, gifted to him by his Father. His parents would love him as unconditionally as they could, however even they could not completely hide their own fears of what would become of him.
After coming of age, he would eventually gain mastery over archery. Although he visually embodied the element of fire, due to the training from his Father, he would become as quick to the draw and fluid in movement as any of the seasoned Marksman in the Scouting Regiment.
It would not be long before he would join the Scouts and begin his first mission. He would be tasked with slaying a beast which had been terrorizing a small neighbouring farm village. Unfortunately, Albairon, brash in his young age, would underestimate the ferocity of said Creature, and nearly succumb to its overwhelming aggression. As he prepared to recieve his final blow from the Creature, his consciousness faded…
he could feel a heat boil forth from within.
He awoke suddenly, stirred from his sleep by the unmistakable sulphurous odour of smoke and ash. The ground on which he lay was blackened and vitrified. The creature, standing in front of him, once ready to strike, was dark and unmoving. It had been turned to coal. Realizing his clothes had been completely burned from his body, he rose to his hooves and gazed around in horror at the charred remains of the village and its people.
The Scouts overseeing his mission arrived soon after, and seeing the carnage which had befallen the village and surrounding farmland, Albairon was immediately seen as the prime suspect. He was promptly captured and escorted back to his Village, where he would await trial.
Punishment for such an offence was death. But as fate would have it, he was spared from execution, only due to his Mother’s love for him, and her status as Village leader. He would however, be banished from the village, never to return. Albairon would leave with haste, and as penance for his mistake, he made a personal vow to decipher the full truth of who... or what he truly was, and the mystery of his… Curse?"

What a shame such a loving and caring man can be so feared and hated 😔. Love the design and I always liked playing archers in DND. I know they weren’t considered very good classes, but I always liked the look and appeal of them! I wonder where he’ll go from here!

Love the drawing!! 😭 My favorite part is probably when Albairon wakes up and the charcoal. Like bro went full fire nuke mode without even trying 😂
