i think this would work well with people doing lines and people working on shading being split. That way we can still learn from more advanced students that are in the same subject but the livestreams aren't so long

I have mixed feelings about this. I think this depends on how beginners and advanced students are split. I can say that I've learned a lot by seeing your critiques of higher level submissions, they also provide guidance for what direction I should be pushing myself in.
