One of the most important realizations I had is that I used to care too much about what others thought of me. But through advice and books, I’ve come to understand that worrying about others’ opinions is often unnecessary. By focusing on taking care of myself and treating myself kindly, I naturally find it easier to treat others well too.
I also realized that trying to connect with people when I’m feeling lonely can sometimes lead to mistakes. Loving myself first and ensuring I have the emotional capacity to support others is so important.
My friends sometimes call me a “walking Wikipedia” because I love learning and tend to know a lot about various things. But this year, I came to understand that having a lot of knowledge doesn’t necessarily mean I’m wise. Gaining wisdom is much harder than gaining knowledge.
Knowledge is relatively easy to find these days. You can search online, buy books, or even listen to audiobooks on YouTube. But when it came to dealing with personal challenges this year, I realized that wisdom—something I still lack—was what I truly needed.
Knowledge helps us understand problems, but solving them requires creativity and wisdom.
So, this year has taught me to value wisdom a little more and to take things one step at a time. I hope you’ll also find your own pace and strength as we move forward.

It's grand you were able improve this year even if the year had its downs. There's always something to learn life is too short to not take a step back from time to time and really deeply consider some things.
