Announcing our next 3D contest that starts TODAY: The 24 Frame Challenge! ✨
🕑 Added 2025-08-23 18:25:18 +0000 UTCThe goal of this challenge is to make as appealing of an animation as you can with an extremely limited frame budget: Just 24 frames! ✨ I'm SUPER excited about this one because animation is my JAM!
The only specs for this contest is that your animation is 24 frames long total and that it's played back at 24fps, Blender's default frame-rate. (Meaning your animation will be exactly one second long! Though if you'd like to have it be less than 24 frames long that's OK too!)
Any character rig/environment/rendering style is allowed! :)
Think that's not long enough to make a great animation? Think again! The amount of extremely popular, appealing animations from fighting game idles to walk or run cycles that are just 24 frames long or even less is astounding!
This limitation will force you to think about the animation fundamentals like posing, appeal, secondary motion and more to make the absolute best animation possible! ✨
This contest runs over a bit over a month exclusively in my Crashsune Patreon Discord server and ends on September 30th!
