What's New!
This update contains a new event available via Dani's normal straw event on Floor 80. You will now have the option to choose which of the 2 events you want to play.
Tiny Straw Event: A long requested event, and one I didn't want to to attempt until I was motivated enough to, and you will see why when you try it! In this event you run around as a tiny of your choice with many others and see how long until you're tagged. What makes this event different from anything else I've ever done (or anyone else for that matter in RPGMV) is that the other tinies and the straw itself have a system set up to act more alive.
Tinies will actually avoid, run faster, watch for the straw and stay at certain distances. The straw itself will decide between certain modes each time, but will not do the last mode it just did. You can tell what it's going to do/move towards by the description. It varies and will choose to either: Try get the closest ones to it (includes you), Try get someone close to you, Try go after the furthest one, Sweep around the outer edge quickly, etc. After a certain amount of people are tagged, then it will move faster slightly etc. Stats for the event have been added to the same area for Dani's normal POV event.
After some tinies are caught, some will have swap states to have emotions like being tired and crawling, sitting down or lying down.
As I had to significantly rewrite existing plugin code, there may be issues and bugs somewhere else in the game. If you come across any you think please let me know asap especially if it is game breaking. The event because it is running so much logic at once may be laggy on older computers so I've capped to only show 150 on the map, with more spawning in after every straw breather until no more are supposed to spawn. This was the safer limit I found without causing it to become unplayable or freeze much. Obviously, there may be errors that happen in the event, as such I've added an option menu that pauses the game/timer when ESC is pressed. And you can choose to force restart the straw's AI and it will attempt to rerun with random perimeters again. The best time to press ESC however is when you see your character have the sweat emotion above their head, as this signifies the straw has completed its run and is now on a few seconds cool down while Dani takes a breathe before resuming.
Apologies for the lateness of the event. It still isn't finished and I will be trying to add more to it before end of the month as there's supposed to be more sprites, conversations, and had wanted to put in another mode where if you try to run, you'll have stamina to worry about too. But I'm already 3 days late from when I said I would release. If all goes well in a week or so and no major bugs, I'll start finding April patrons that unsubbed to send to them too.
Other small patches:
Angels Aerie Prawn Event fixed to revert to proper zoom and control after viewed.
Overworld tinies now count in tracker stats.
