Haha that’s right! After he got hit by the gauntlet, the spell almost broke. Maybe if Lenard had continued teasing him it would’ve been fully shattered

He wakes! Side note, it took me way too long to realize in the first chapter that Lenard's advances were slowly whittling away the head wreathe of the prince's spell. Only when Lenard commented on it mending itself at the start of this chapter.
