State of dev and future update schedule

I was a bit hesitant about making this post, because I am of the philosophy of not finding excuses and rather doing instead of saying in times like this, especially when the late update is my fault. Nothing exceptional happened, I was just stuck in a cycle of burning out and taking a break, and overworking because I was late, plus I had a mental block for some reason.
Until now, I made pretty substantial updates, the reason was I wanted to give people a reason to play the game again, make it worth your time.
But especially with this kind of update taking more time as the game grows, I think a more practical update release schedule going further would be small, incremental, but frequent updates, every week or couple weeks, focusing on a specific element (a character, bugs and balance, a new mechanic, etc), and people would be able to play again anytime they feel it's been enough update to be worth it to play again. Hopefully, this should help me be more consistent in the future.
With that said, a big part of Update 4 has been made, but not all has been made equally.
The new deck management changes work great, as well as the maze upgrade, and a couple quality of life features. I also developped a new companion mechanic, and that works well, although it needs refinement and balance.
On the character side, art is good except for a couple card upgrades, and the cards and story scenes are basically done, except that... I am not proud of them. They're not as developped and interesting, I worked on them with a sword of Damocles over my head, not spending as much time on each idea.
Additionally, the current build is currently quite unstable with a number of bugs, and I want to avoid releasing the update in a
I could theorically release Update 4 next week, but that would mean sacrificing on the quality, which I'm not a fan of. I'm going to finish the general changes and fix next saturday, alongside one character, and release another character each saturday for the rest of the month. Please let me know which one you'd like to see first.

I think this is the right way. Focusing on a specific element is the best, because you can get money and we will get content at the same time with a lot less stress for both. ^^' In the last 2 week I played a lot of games with expansion and growth content and the most of them are all dead because the developer pushed themselfs to hard, but the community was chilling. For us the most important thing is to get Updates, it doesn't matter what, just inform us and let us know what you are doing. And maybe we can help while we give you an unexpected hint or an idea. Me for example, I'm an "Idea smith" I don't know the right term in english but I'm very creative and sometimes I can help with testing or creating art. I helped a few artist in the past with their projects and it was helpful for the most of them. ^^' I really really wish for card image updates for Ruby, I like this Images and this is one of the big reason for me to play the game, to unlock things no matter how little they are. ^^' That being said i wish you doing better and stop to stress your self. ^^

I'd say most people (me) are concerned about abandonment on pateron projects more than anything else. Support is something I'm happy to give since what you're creating is something I feel is worth funding. True, that support can wax and wane given different factors, but I'd say that it's dependent only on the quality of work you put out over time and only slightly on the pace at which you do it. To that end I'd say work at your own pace and make the game you want to make to the best of your ability, as you are your own worst critic. If you want to push some early builds on half-baked mechanics to get feedback, that's what we're here for! If you need time to decompress or research or refine a skill, that's all good and a critical part of the creative process. You can't just manifest a good game with hard work alone, especially if you need to devote time to other parts of your life like a job. You've kept us in the loop and are far more transparent than most creators on here, which is huge and I'm more than happy to send a few dollars every month to help out.
