Please read - Billing cycle resuming + Changes to my Patreon page
🕑 Added 2021-04-14 21:03:29 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I've been sitting on this for a while now because things have improved at times, then they start falling apart again, and it's been difficult to come to a decision. I can't bring myself to shut down my Patreon entirely, I might at some point but right now it feels like admitting defeat, but starting May 1st, my page will basically become a tip jar for whatever I end up drawing.
What this means:
- Billing cycle - Will resume on May 1st, meaning if you are still a patron at that time, you will be charged for your current pledge amount. If you want to unpledge for any reason, please do so by April 30th at the latest
- Rewards - All poll rewards will be removed, but hi-res images and download bundles will still be made available for new artwork
- Content - All existing content on my page will still be available, nothing is going away and new artwork will still be uploaded here as I make it
I don't need to ramble about the mindset I've been in lately, you've seen me talk about it at length at this point. The negatives have really been eating away at me and right now I can't see myself jumping back in to monthly rewards when it's currently such a struggle to pick up my pen in the first place.
I still have ideas, I still have things I want to do with my art, I just feel so overwhelmed lately and need to come to a stop in order to start moving forward again at a more manageable pace. Maybe this is still me pumping the brakes and I actually will have to shut down my page completely in order for this analogy to make sense, guess we'll find that out too.
For now, I'm sorry again for how horribly inconsistent I've been and I really appreciate all the comments, encouragement, and support you've given me over the years, even if I haven't directly responded to you. I'll try to have some new content out soon, even if it's just to show myself that I'm still capable of doing so. Stay safe out there in the meantime.
