IU used to work in a drama with JYP and other JYP idols called dream high :) it was a great hit back then.

IU is literally bigger than k-pop. She debut in 2008 at 15y/o. Writes all her songs and is highly respected in the Korean music industry. She's an even more amazing actress! :) My fave songs from her are 'Bleuming' and 'Palette' (with G-Dragon).

If you're becoming a fan of IU then you should watch her Kdrama, Hotel del Luna. That was my introduction to her and I had no idea she was a singer at the time. She is a fascinating actress, charming, beautiful, fierce and sad at the same time. She will steal your heart.
