"Madara" told a story to Naruto, Kakashi and Yamato in the Five Kage Summit arc, that the Uchiha and the Senju are descendants of the Sage of The Six Paths. Naruto's mom told Naruto in the flashback that the Uzumaki are blood relatives of the Senju. So in a way Naruto is a descendant of the Sage of The Six Paths

Actually, the reason why there is only six beast out is probably due to the fact that Rinnegan can only create Six Paths of Pain, so even if Madara would have one of previous jinchuuriki of Shukaku, he wouldnot be able to summon him.
