I did say that was my opinion, I don't understand the point of your reply. Death Note is not even my favourite anime I just think objectively it's the best although it's not necessarily the style of anime I enjoy the best.

Death Note is my second favorite anime. Code Geass is my favorite. Both are really good shows. The best part about death note is there's a like of crazy twists in the story, so it never gets boring. At that point it just depends how much you like the story, and the characters.

Death Note is in class of its own. You don't have to react to it but watch it 100%. I'd definitely enjoy death note reactions but people don't generally rewatch it often (especially reactions) because the show is emotionally and intellectually exhausting. It's not as easy going as Naruto or Bleach even though both of these shows can be deep, I just feel like Death Note is on another level as a story in general, it's much sophisticated than what you've reacted to so far. It's almost (but not quite) as deep as the Monster.
