While Kaguya was little doubt a relatively late addition to the plot (how late is debatable), I do like how Kishi did incorporate various lore from early in the Naruto series that provides some loose connections to her. Recall that in part 1 of Naruto, Kakashi stated how it is rumored that the sharingan evolved from the byakugan, and here we see the progenitor of the various eyes, Kaguya, did start with the byakugan.

Ngl, when I said I stop watching Naruto after a certain point, it’s pretty much here. You mentioned it in the video how you were sad about madara getting taken out like that and a majority of the fandom was upset as well. Madara had so much buildup and foreshadowing while Kaguya was literally foreshadowed in this arc in terms of canon episodes, like 20 episodes ago. This twist was dumb because of how it was written and when it was placed imo.
