The different factions in Bleach are themed by different languages. For example, you'll soon notice that the Hollows titles and technique names are in Spanish. Quincies are in German, Shinigami are of course in Japanese, etc.

Just to be clear I am neither happy or sad ya skipped this filler arc. There's not really anything of note in it that is worth putting the main story on hold for like 50 some episodes. I can think of only two scenes atm in the whole arc that are interesting. That being said its not a bad arc. It is just sandwiched in between to really good ones so it makes it feel worse than it is. In general as with almost all fillers in every anime I would say if ya hanker for more when the main story is done, it's nice to have something to go back to that's fresh. In all of Bleach there is only one episode that is 100% filler that's a must watch. But to be honest you could watch it any time after episode 45 or so as all the characters involved have been introduced by then.

It’s actually hinted that he was a soul reaper many times in the story, but Kubo has a way of hiding things in plain sight so u can’t see it until its revealed

yeah, the three weird new guys are the filler characters, but they're around for a like a few episodes. I guess the anime wanted to make the transition between filler and canon more fluid or something. I can't confirm anything BUT i'd guess so. DOn't worry tough, they're not here for long.

Those random characters are from the filler arc. They aren't in the manga. They are mod souls like kon. They can also be put it in stuffed animals. Also if there more bleach this week ur the best🙏 ( u r nonetheless tho lmao)
