xianxia and wuxia are beautiful genres. Need more of this!! To be make it simple, cultivators are supernatural beings who can use the surrounding mana to cultivate that into their body and sublimate to higher levels. Reason why they travel on swords is usually they can fly naturally at some level, and they are at a level below that so they inject the mana in swords to fly. Would recommend stellar transformation anime.

MDZS live action was so effing popular back in the days too, i enjoyed all versions of MDZS, novel, LA or animation. another book of MXTX (the author of MDZS) is Heaven's official blessings and i had to say, i thought animation in MDZS is great but the animation of HOB was soooooo heavenly Chinese animation has different vibes for sure
