So I don’t know what the actual translation is supposed to be. But in the manga Galland says this to Meliodas ‘you’re appearance hasn’t changed since back then.’ I don’t know why they changed it but I thought you would like to know. All Galland is saying there is that Meliodas looks the same as he did before.

neel the thing is meliodas full counter only reflects MAGIC attacks back at the enemy so if the enemy don't use magic he can not use his full counter. as stated earlier the 10 commandments lose ther magic through the seal.
