Just a tidbit of information. Pale Rider might be an obscure reference to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from Christian mythology. Conquest/Pestilence, War, Famine and Death. In mythology Death comes riding on a "pale horse" (depending on the translation) and therefore is also sometimes referenced as the "Pale Rider". So on it's own the name might not have much power behind it but if you know the reference being made it's not worse naming sense then Death Gun, just more subtle than just straight up calling yourself Death.
