its not said what there curses are in the anime but its stated, that the 2 commandments who love each other, if they ever admit it to each other, will both be effected by their commandments, so we can/will never know.

Yeah, the Goddess Clan and the Demon Race are not a simple good vs evil situation. Just like in real life, people and cultures that act very brutal in a modern eye can be consider evil, but that is just their nature and at least you know where they stand. People who claim they are good, but commit atrocities in the name of the greater good are the ones that needs to be wary of.
