I could be wrong but when Meliodas said: "This time, we have to bring all seven of the Seven Deadly Sins together" I realised that, flashback aside, we haven't seen them all seven together. The closest we got was at the end of S1 where Escanor was missing and during the great fight festival during S2 where Merlin was missing.

S3 has arguably more payoffs story wise than S2. The animation is just lacking somewhat, I personally was so invested I didn’t care except for 1 specific episode which was infamous on the internet for a bit lol.

Melascula's dead revival spell has literally nothing to do with her commandment. Her commandment is one that burns your eyes if you show faithlessness in front of her. and since the show is straight up telling you for this episode, something you could have realized if you paid very close attention, melascula still has one heart left. Ban too out one of her's along with one of Galland's in his fight with them, then took out another 5 when he used zero sign later. Estarossa immediately tells him afterwards that superior demons have 7 hearts total.

There are no OVAs that you have to watch and the Prisoners of the Sky movie is the same situation as the Black Clover movie with the semi-canon nature

@25:23 what Melascula used was just a spell of hers, not her commandment - at this point, we already know what her commandment does and it does not revive She herself also explained in the episode where her and Galand were fucking up Ban that when someone dies, their magic disappears too. So if the people she revived are still here, she has to be alive.

Next is the prisoner of the skies movie and then season 3. Also I know u were worried about if season 3 was a fall off, it's not, the only thing that made it "worse" than the first 2 seasons is the animation studio change. Other than that the story is still really good
