Worth pointing out, not having seen the previous shows had you completely misread the track scene. He didn't have muscle cramps; that's just what the PE teacher thought. He slowed down because he imagined he was pulling a heavy weight behind him. Because in Baki, that kind of visualization actually works, and let's him become even stronger even without pulling an actual physical weight. And this is something Baki does without thinking as a training habit.
