This movie was released in theater after the second season of the anime ended so that is why that was the closest timeline of abilities the movie had. As others have already mentioned, it was past noon when the battle started so Escanor's power was dropping as the fight was going on. Escanor is at his most powerful the minute of noon because that is when the sun is at its highest. Also, Meliodas probably can beat all of the current 10 commandments himself if he tapped into all of his demonic powers.
