Don't overexaggerate man. Season 2's animation is nowhere near as good a season 1 obviously, but to say it's so bad that it distracts from the story is a stretch.

For me, season 2 is far superior in terms of story, it's just the animation iso bad that the story gets distracted from. I actually prefer to read the manga for this part.
