Man, Lay with the HUGE tease on Misa never gets old. She totally thought she was getting a kiss, closed her eyes and puckered up and everything. Ugh. But him saying he knows it means a proposal and he's coming back to her.. so great.

even after watching so many anime, that plot twist was actually one of the best twists I've seen in a long time. a lot of times in modern anime they focus on certain hints too much or make it SEEM like a hint. except this show didn't do that whatsoever, and spent the entire season slowly giving us clues in casual dialogue without us realizing it, its actually really cool lol
