So this is my first time here and I assume by now your mom has already had her surgery, so I hope it went well. I don't know if you read these comments but they didn't make it very clear that only those below the age of 10 die within 5 years. In order to summon an adult hero with the Unique Skills "suited for combat" that they are looking for, that's when a group of magicians is needed for the summoning. Some people don't want to be so restricted in who can perform and how often the summoning can occur will use fewer magicians on the off-chance they get lucky and summon someone useful, but it's more likely they they aren't very successful and summon a child. This contrasts to people who spontaneously arrive there, who may have any ability, like Yuuki and Hinata.
