Japanese pronounciation is pretty straight forward. His name in japanese is "ユージオ", (yuujio), think of it as saying Yu-gi-oh but instead of gi its ji. Think that's the best I can help you

Kirito and Eugeo don’t really remember their past, but the memories aren’t actually erased completely, they are blocked off, so sometimes, in certain circumstances some fragments of memories leak through the blockade. Also I said Kirito only has the average physical abilities of a average 17 year old in Underworld, so all that jumping and turning was stuff the anime added because it looks cool, on the other hand they cut out some pretty cold stuff, in the novels when Kirito tried to scare them off presenting Ugachi’s head one of the goblins actually came forward to challenge him and rile the others up but Kirito just murked him instantly which in turn caused the rest to flee. Also sadly cut out, when Eugeo decided to be a swordsman that brat Zink and his dad complained about it, leading to a duel between Zink and Eugeo, in which Eugeo showed off what he learned from Kirito and improved on it, adapting his sword skills beyond what Kirito has shown him and completely showing Zink up, showing that he actually has quite the talent for the sword. For Eugeo’s name maybe it helps if you think of it as Yujio, that’s more or less how it’s pronounced. BTW in other seasons they have been drinking “alcoholic” beverages like it’s nothing in the virtual world, as it’s a game it might give you status effects, but it won’t actually make them drunk, here it’s different, Alcohol actually makes you drunk, as that’s the shared memory of the Fluctlights in Underworld of how alcohol worlds.

It is possible that the guy who attacked Kirito at the end of the first episode was a player named Joe. Joe was one of the VERY first members of Laughing Coffin (even before it was a guild). Joe was also the VERY first person who called Kirito a ‘Beater’ after the floor 1 boss fight. Crazy how everything comes full circle.
